NIRSA Region V Student Lead On Track at the Conference

“Improving the world THROUGH collegiate recreation”

The 2024 NIRSA Region V Student Lead-On will guide students through examining their leadership identities and their relation to collegiate recreation.

As a cohort, Lead-On students will engage in several activities aimed at better understanding who we are, how we lead, and what each of our core motivations are. Then, students will work through how each of our unique identities can manifest in a collegiate recreation position and support NIRSA’s mission to better our communities through recreation and wellness.

Lead-On will conclude with a conversation panel with current Graduate Assistants to discuss their experiences, answer questions from other students, and allow our cohort to reflect on how we can continue to be change-makers in campus recreation.
