Preconference Hike to the “A” –
Tuesday, October 8th
12:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Cost: $30

Transportation & Trail snacks included

Join us for a hike to the “A” an iconic landmark of Fort Collins that includes views of Horsetooth Reservoir, the Colorado State University Campus, and the town of Fort Collins. The “A” stands for Aggies, as that was the first mascot back in 1870 when CSU was originally named the Colorado Agriculture College. Though we are now called the Rams, CSU has kept the tradition of maintaining the “A” to reflect the university’s history and that “A” gets repainted every August by the incoming first year class – led by members of the CSU Campus Recreation Professional Staff.
