The University of North Dakota hosted the Region V ND/MN State Workshop on September 29-30th, 2016. The event was a great success with schools attending from all over North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota. NIRSA and Region V would like to thank the University of North Dakota for doing a wonderful job hosting and putting on a fantastic conference!

The pre-conference facilities tour covered locations such as the University of Minnesota-Crookston, Choice Health & Fitness (Grand Forks Park District), and “The Ralph” (Ralph Engelstad Arena/Sioux Center Hockey Arena). All the facilities were fairly new and absolutely gorgeous! Pictures included below!

The educational sessions covered topics from Seeking a graduate assistantship, Learning about NIRSA’s Institutional Data Set, Assessing student employee development, to roundtables and group discussions on Title IX and the Clery Act. These presentations were top notch and many will be repeated at the Annual Conference in February – so make sure to attend them!
